Company Members 2018-2019

Company Members are the lifeblood of the Academy and are committed to developing leadership skills, practicing professionalism and experiencing the benefits of true synergy as they work together to bring ballet to the community.

Aftyn Bradfield

Aftyn Bradfield

Aftyn Bradfield is the daughter of John and Christy Bradfield.  She is a Freshman at Tooele High School and a member of the Z-Motion Ballroom Team.  After trying various dance styles, she happily settled on ballet joining TVAD in the Fall of 2014.  Aftyn’s favorite roles include Mouse and Party Guest in previous Nutcracker ballets, Ivy Maiden in A Christmas Carol 2016, and Frost in The Snow Queen 2017. Aftyn loves being with the TVAD Company and her ballroom team. She is very excited for her first performance of Swan Lake this coming Spring. Chocolate oranges and grapefruit are the way to Aftyn’s heart, and she is happiest when she’s dancing.

 

 

 

 

 

Daniel Conlin

Daniel Conlin

Daniel Conlin is the son of Joe and Phyllisa Conlin. He is a Junior at Stansbury High School. Daniel found his love of dancing at the age of 9, first appearing as a rabbit in TVAD’s 2011 production of Cinderella. This is Daniel’s first “official” year on Company, having danced as an alternate for the previous season. Some of Daniel’s former roles include: Three years playing the role of Fritz for TVAD’s Nutcracker (2012-2014), Self-proclaimed Village Idiot (and Kai Understudy) for TVAD’s debut Snow Queen 2017 and most recently the role of Torreador in Don Quixote 2018. Daniel believes in the mission of a company member and enjoys the opportunities of service, leadership and friendship that being part of Company provides.

 

 

 

 

Hannah Conlin

Hannah Conlin

Hannah Conlin is the daughter of Phyllisa & Joseph Conlin. She has been dancing with TVAD since she was five years old. This is her first year as a company member. Hannah is an 8th grader at Excelsior Academy. In addition to ballet, she enjoys writing: she earned a Silver Key from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. She also enjoys ballroom and is a member of the Excelsior Ballroom Team. Some of Hannah’s current and former roles with TVAD include: Marzipan, Nutcracker 2018; Knitter, Sleeping Beauty 2017; Icicle, Snow Queen 2017; Gypsy, Don Quixote 2018 and Mouse, Nutcracker 2013-2015.

 

 

 

 

 

Camille Fenton

Camille Fenton

Camille Fenton is the oldest daughter of Tom and Ami Fenton. She is a Freshman Honor Student at Tooele High School. Camille studied ballet and tap at Bizzy Bee Dance from 2011-2017. This is her second year at TVAD. Some of her favorite roles have been: Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz for Bizzy Bee 2017; a Rose from the Dream Sequence and a Villager for TVAD’s Snow Queen 2017; Gypsy, Kezia (demi-soloist) and Dryad in TVAD’s Don Quixote 2018. Camille enjoys basketball, volleyball, reading, playing the piano, singing, and spending time with her family.

 

 

 

 

 

Brooklun Finlayson

Brooklun Finlayson

Brooklun Finlayson is the daughter of April Mitchell and Skyler Finlayson.  She is a 9th grade honor student at Tooele High School.  She is a member of the THS Dance Company.  She has been dancing competitively in jazz, lyrical and hip hop since she was eight, where she has earned high gold and first place rankings.  She joined TVAD in the late fall of 2015.  Brooklun experienced her first classical ballet performance in spring 2016 as a villager and noble in Giselle.  She has since danced in the Company’s Corps and played the role of Ebene’s Maid in A Christmas Carol 2016 and the soloist role of Esmeralda in Don Quixote 2017. When asked about how she feels about dance Brooklun says: “Dance is a way of expressing how I feel that I can’t say with words. It is a way to show who I am. Dance is a part of my life, but most importantly, it is a part of me. I couldn’t imagine my life without it:‘Without dance, what’s the pointe.’” In her free time Brooklun enjoys hanging out with her friends, reading and scrapbooking with her grandma.

 

 

 

Nathan Hinton

Nathan Hinton

Nathan Hinton is the son of Ryan & Celeste Hinton. Nathan is 16 years old and has been dancing with TVAD since 2012. Nathan enjoys ballet in part because it reminds him of karate: the discipline, exertion and demand for excellence. Coincidentally, his favorite karate sensei is a former soloist with the American Ballet Theatre. Nathan’s former roles include: Lilac Fairy Cavalier, Sleeping Beauty 2017;  Cavalier & Company Corps Member, A Christmas Carol 2016; Nutcracker Prince, Nutcracker 2015; Villager, Hunter, Noble, and the Squire Wilfred, Giselle, 2016;  Gentleman/Cavalier at the ball, Cinderella 2015; demi-soloist in the Napolitaine dance, Swan Lake 2014; Edmund, Nutcracker 2013; Page and Hunter, Sleeping Beauty 2013. Nathan has also performed as a Russian Dancer and part of the Waltz of the Flowers in past Nutcracker productions. Nathan danced the Peasant Pas de Deux from Giselle at Capital Theater in Winter 2016 as well as in TVAD’s Spring production of Giselle, Spring 2016. At any given moment Nathan may be reading the science encyclopedia, playing sports, practicing piano, baking rolls or experimenting with his latest invention. He is also currently one of TVAD’s piano accompanists.

 

 

Audrey Palmer

Audrey Palmer

Audrey Palmer is the daughter of Jason and Melinda Palmer. She is an 8th grader at Tooele Jr High.  Audrey has loved dancing since she was little and began her formal training at TVAD in 2011.  Audrey’s former roles include: Valeria, Don Quixote 2018;  Dove Princess, Snow Queen 2017; Bluebird soloist, Sleeping Beauty 2017; Christmas Present Corps and Waltz of the Flowers, A Christmas Carol 2016; Villager and Noble, Giselle 2016; Clara’s Friend and Tree Sprite, Nutcracker 2015; Ice Skater, Cinderella 2015; Napolitaine Dancer, Swan Lake 2014; Party Guest, Nutcracker 2014 & 2013; Blackbird, SleepingBeauty 2013; Young Dancer and Christmas Past Corps, A Christmas Carol 2012; Villager, Giselle 2012; and Snowflake, Nutcracker 2011. This is Audrey’s 2nd year on Company and she has loved every mminute of it. When Audrey isn’t dancing (which is very rare), she likes to go camping and enjoys swimming and watching movies.

 

 

 

 

Kaylee Park

Kaylee Park

Kaylee Park is the daughter of Craig and Lacey Park. Kaylee is a Sophomore in an online school. She has been dancing all her life. She fell in love with TVAD in the Spring of 2015 when she played her first small role as an Ice Skater in Cinderella. Since then Kaylee has danced as a Spanish Chocolate, Nutcracker 2015 and a Villager in Giselle 2016. Other previous roles include: Swarm, Reindeer, Waltz of the Flowers and Christmas Past Corps, Christmas Carol 2016;  Knitter, Courtier, and Wedding Guest, Sleeping Beauty 2017; and most recently a Villager in Don Quixote 2018. Kaylee loves serving at her church, singing and playing the piano in her youth band, being with her friends, and acting.  She hopes one day to become an OBGYN or a pediatric nurse. Until then, her passion is dance.

 

 

 

 

 

Zachary Park

Kaylee Park

Zachary Park is the son of Craig and Lacey Park. He is a Junior at UTVA .  He has been home-schooled all his life. Zachary began attending TVAD in the spring of 2016, where he made his debut onstage in the Hunting Party for the Giselle ballet.  Zachary has danced in A Christmas Carol 2016, Sleeping Beauty 2017, Snow Queen 2017 and Don Quixote 2018. He is very excited to be joining company this year for his second time as company member and as a team captain. Zachary can always be seen with a camera around his neck and enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, serving at his local church, swimming and hiking. He has a life goal of traveling the world taking pictures, and one day wants to become a police officer.  Zachary is excited to see what this new year will bring for himself and his fellow company members.

 

 

 

 

 

Lizzie Rawlings

Lizzie Rawlings

Lizzie Rawlings is the daughter of Jeremy and Andrea Rawlings. She is an 8th grader at Clarke N. Johnsen Jr. High this year. Lizzie has had a love of the stage from a very young age and is always looking for opportunities to perform. At the age of 6 she was cast as Molly in La Forge Encore Theatre’s production of Annie. Lizzie started her study of ballet with TVAD in 2009 and instantly fell in love with classical ballet.  She has danced many roles for six TVAD Nutcracker performances including her favorite role, Clara, Winter 2015. In addition to Nutcracker, Lizzie has performed as: Fairy of Joy, Sleeping Beauty 2017;  a Noble, Giselle 2016; a Lady at the Ball, Cinderella 2015; White Swan & Napolitaine Dancer, Swan Lake 2014; and Young Princess Aurora, Sleeping Beauty 2013. She also performed a Swanhilda’s solo (Coppélia) at Capital Theatre winter of 2015. In addition to dance and theatre, Lizzie is gifted academically and musically. She goes above and beyond in all that she pursues and works relentlessly to achieve her goals, one of which has been to become a TVAD Company Member. Lizzie hopes to earn a scholarship to a university, serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and someday become a mom and an Optometrist.

 

Carly Runyon

Carly Runyon

Carly Runyon is the daughter of Mark and Joni Runyon. Carly is in 8th grade and is homeschooled. She has been dancing with TVAD since she was nine and has loved every second of it. Carly’s former roles include: Blackbird, Sleeping Beauty 2013; Party Guest and Soldier, Nutcracker 2013; Villager, Swan Lake 2014; Party Guest and Mouse, Nutcracker 2014; Ice Skater, Cinderella 2015; Tree Sprite, Soldier and Spanish chocolate, Nutcracker 2015; Villager, Giselle 2016; Swarm, Pre-show Sugarplum Fairy, Waltz of the Flowers and Christmas Present Corps, Christmas Carol 2016; and The Fairy of Generosity in Sleeping Beauty 2017. Her favorite role by far has been The Fairy of Generosity. In her free time if she is not dancing she will probably be helping with her Church (especially with the kids) or will be singing in her youth’s worship team. Someday she hopes to either teach at a ballet studio or become a therapist.

 

 

 

 

Hannah Sheppard

Hannah Sheppard

Hannah Sheppard is the daughter of Dave and Cheryl Sheppard. Hannah has been dancing almost since she could walk.  She danced one year of jazz prior to joining TVAD in 2010.  She has performed in four TVAD productions of the Nutcracker dancing roles such as Clara’s Best Friend Jane, Russian dancer, PartyGuest, Snowflake, Tree Sprite and Mouse. Other former roles include: Mercedes, Don Quixote 2018; the female lead Gerda in The Snow Queen 2017; The Lilac Fairy, Sleeping Beauty 2017; Ghost of Christmas Present, A Christmas Carol 2016; Autumn leaf, Nightshade and Lady at the Ball, Cinderella 2015; White swan and Napolitaine dancer, Swan Lake 2014; Lady-in-Waiting and Bluebird demi -soloist, Sleeping Beauty 2013; Villager, Giselle 2012; Party Guest, and Ghost of Christmas Future corps de ballet dancer in A Christmas Carol 2012. Hannah danced a Peasant Pas de Deux and a Shade Solo from La Bayadere at the Capital Theatre in the Winter of 2015 as well as for TVAD’s production of Giselle, 2016.  Hannah is a Freshman at Tooele High School and is a member of the THS ballroom team as well as on the tennis team. She also enjoys eating homemade pickles and playing basketball.

 

 

Kathryn Thompson

Kathryn Thompson

Kathryn Thompson is the daughter of Todd and Melanie Thompson and sister to three older brothers. Kathryn is a Sophomore at Tooele High School this year and is going to be dancing on the THS Ballroom Team for her second year. She started her ballet instruction at age 3 with Swan Studios, and has been dancing at TVAD since the Fall of 2013. She loves every minute of it. Her former roles include: Gamzatti (soloist role) for Don Quixote 2018; Snow Storm Soloist, Snow Queen 2017; Fairy of Beauty, Sleeping Beauty 2017; Christmas Party Guests and Company Corps Member, A Christmas Carol 2016; Wili Corps member and Noble, Giselle 2016;  Enchanted Horse, Cinderella 2015; Russian Dancer, Tree Sprite & Snowflake, Nutcracker 2015; Black Swan Corps, Swan Lake 2014;  and Clara, Nutcracker 2014. Kathryn also plays the piano and flute, and loves music of all kinds.

 

 

 

 

Daniel Westhora

Daniel Westhora

Daniel Westhora is the son of Darren and Sarah Westhora. He worked as part of the TVAD stage crew behind the scenes for many years, making his debut on the stage “holding up the walls” in Cinderella Spring of 2015. Daniel’s mother was absolutely delighted when he decided to begin attending Men’s Class in the Fall of 2016. Always ready for physically demanding activities, he enjoys the challenges and opportunities that classical dance training offers. A few of Daniel’s former roles include: Kai, the lead male for TVAD’s debut of Snow Queen 2017, King Stephan in Sleeping Beauty, 2017 and most recently a Spanish Bullfighter for Don Quixote 2018. Daniel is currently a Junior at Stansbury High School and a member of the Precision Ballroom Team. In addition to a plethora of church, family and school participation, Daniel is an avid reader and enjoys rollerblading, rock climbing, and keeping stock of the Academy’s growing armory. He firmly believes that the doublet should return en vogue. Daniel plans to serve a mission after graduating from high school and then complete whatever training he needs to become a products engineer.

 

 

Olivia Winters

Olivia Winters

Olivia Winters is the daughter of Candice and Jerry Winters. She is a Freshman and has been home-schooled her entire life. Olivia has loved performing from a very young age and is always looking for opportunities to participate in musicals, plays, and anything else that has to do with a stage. Olivia began dancing at TVAD in the Spring of 2016 after many years of being an avid gymnast. When the choice came between continuing on to a competitive level in gymnastics or trying ballet, Olivia chose ballet and has never looked back. She has always loved dance of every kind, but Ballet quickly became her #1 choice. Olivia’s former roles include: Spanish Señorita and Maid of Honor, Don Quixote 2018; Villager and Icicle, Snow Queen 2017; Wedding Guest, Sleeping Beauty 2017; Flower in Waltz of the Flowers, A Christmas Carol 2016 and Night Corps de ballet, Giselle 2016. Olivia loves baking, singing, photography and being with friends and family. She enjoys the challenge that ballet brings and is always looking for ways to progress and improve her performance. She hopes to someday become a mom and a photographer.
