Cheryl became involved with Tooele Valley Academy of Dance in 2010 when her daughter began dancing with Ms. Sarah. Since the beginning she has been impressed by the dedication to providing quality ballet instruction to students of all ages and abilities. Cheryl is also very impressed by the quality of performances that are shared with the Tooele community throughout the year.
Cheryl has been a Registered Nurse since1990 and dedicated 19 years as a nurse working in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit. In 2013 she received her Masters of Nursing Education. Since 2012 she has been program coordinator and primary instructor of the nursing assistant program for the Tooele School District. Cheryl is married to Dave and is a mom to three children and an obnoxious dog. Her family’s activities keep her very busy and are her first priority. In her spare time Cheryl can be found taxiing kids to their various activities, watching high school baseball games, watching or helping coach softball, walking the dog, biking or swimming.
Cheryl is excited to be a part of the TVAD Board of Directors and participate in expanding ballet education in the Tooele Valley as well as increasing opportunities for the community to watch and participate in performing arts.
